Past NBA stars in today's game.

Pretty much the only athletes that I would claim aren't athletic in the 4 major sports are some baseball players (even then they can do impressive athletic feats that most cant) and possibly some line men in football (these guys are really strong and quick with their hands and feet though). Otherwise all these guys are all world athletes and I don't personally see the point in arguing who's more athletic.

I don't completely agree about the Nash or Paul things. They are still athletic compared to lebron they just aren't the most athletic person around when he steps in the building. But then again who is more athletic than James other than Will Ferrell of course?

in 70`s and in 80`s most players are not athletes , they dont specializes on one thing compare to today athletes they dont wanna put in time to work on all around games. they just work on one skill that get them in basketball. i

Leaping ability and strength are but two elements in the spectrum about of athleticism. There are many many others... Balance, hand eye cooridnation, quickness, change of direction, speed, body control....

We had a kid in our HS that was a weight room freak. He was 6-3 225, benched 300+ squated 450+ and set our HS verticle leap record with a leap of 36 inches. He couldn't run up and down the basketball court once withtout falling down. He couldn't catch, dribble, shoot, catch a football, block... he was just a complete waste of muscle.

We had a teamate who was 6-2 205. He wasnt as big strong, fast, couldn't jump as high, but he played D1 football for Kansas.

You want to tell me the former was more athletic than the latter because he was stronger and could jump higher?

Is D. Archie more athletic that Brunner?

so you`re saying cory everson, rachel mclish is completely waste of muscle?
