I fixed it for ya. I am just pumped to see what coach Fran can do with the hawks. He has a lot experience being a div 1 coach and he has multiple stops where there was nothing in place. Lick walked into Butler with other coaches having success before him. All lick had to do was pick-up where the other guy left off. He didn't have to do any program building. Fran walked into Sienna with NOTHING, and he turned that program around.

He has proven he can recruit talent, his teams at Sienna were good enough to beat Vandy (when they were a 4 seed.) and then Last year they beat OSU. So I am completely confident in coach Fran and I am already pumped for next year. I know Iowa will still struggle, but coach Fran's style will put people in the seats regardless of wins or losses.

If lick was still here, I would be dreading the start of next year.

But like Fran said they dont need 4 and 5 star players they need players that players that can play like 4and 5 stars. I think his success will hinder on recruiting not getting the best players but the most intelligent and athletic players.

Also, what Iowa really needs & needs first is quality depth, especially, if going to run this style. I would think need to at least go 10 deep.

So true. Back some years I was in that territory & decided to pull the ole' vehicle into W Lafayette to look around. I like to see what other Big 10 campuses & cities are like. To say the least I was not impressed. It was pretty much equiv to Ames.

W Lafayette = Ames

... and that's not saying much.

Last time I was there the police held me at gunpoint for almost 30 minutes (I was polite and unarmed) for trespassing. Its a pretty rough area. That was in Lafayette, not W Laf though.
