Having beaten OSU, Wisconsin, Mich St, Penn State, and @ Arizona.

The human polls I think would give BSU an edge though. They never made it higher than #5 in either the Harris or USA Today polls in 2009. If they were #2 or #3 in both of those polls this year (which is certainly possible given their starting position, and wins over VT and Oregon State if they run table), then I think they get in.

I didn't say it was right or wrong (personally, I would like to see BSU play for it all if they don't have to beat us out for the spot), I'm just saying I think it would go down that way. If they kept us out, I would be p***ed off too.

I'm starting to get over the "we flop under high expectations" thing. Ferentz is arguably the best in the country at learning from his mistakes, whether it be halftime adjustments or handling off-field issues. I think we are going to see a team that is not kicking it back. These aren't "fatcats". The team is VERY hungry, and I really do believe that this is a 10+ win season.

I will have a better idea on this after the first two games.

That said, I will give the Hawks the benefit of the doubt and say they finish higher than 9th in the final poll.
