Outback Bowl officials make announcement in regards to cowbells inside the stadium

The Miss St. SB Nation article, and the other one from the site above, both say how great Stanley is.
Now we know they didn't actually watch anything.

The only information anyone outside of the B1G footprint has on Stanley is that he had a monster game against Ohio State last year.

I think the cowbell stuff is pretty bush league

The other night I was at my twin boys 6th grade youth league basketball game. They play up in a 7th grade league. they beat the team the first league game. When I was there the other night, anytime the opposing 7th grade team scored, what did one of the mothers pull up from the bleacher floor and shake? You got it, a cowbell.

This was on a Monday night 6th grade youth basketball game.

On a side note, I do like the sound of them. Funny that Miss St. fans think a cowbell is going to be something really different to somebody from Iowa. Probably have more cows in any Iowa county than they have in Mississippi.

Iowa fans need some other equally annoying musical instrument like the kazoo, triangle, cymbals, possible armpit? I looked at the scores of the teams Mississippi State played with a heartbeat and they scored a total 7, 6 , 3, and 0 points. In their only big win against Auburn, they scored 23 points. Don't see why the extreme optimism by the Bulldog faithful.
How about some vuvuzelas?

Seriously there are cowbells in College Football? I thought that shit was relegated to Junior High and High School football

it's gonna be really fricking annoying hearing those damn things ringing non stop during the game. At the Outback Bowl Beach Day party, I bet those southern twits will bring them to the party as well

If someone in the UI athletic department was thinking this through, the UI should provide every Iowa fan who goes down there with a Hawkeye decorated cowbell. A counterintelligence maneuver, neutralize the behavior. The Bulldog fans wouldn't know what to do, plus if Iowa fans are ringing their own cowbells it will be eminently less obnoxious to hear MSU doing it. Plus, it would be a pretty cool souvenir.

The more you talk, the louder they're gonna rattle them.
Our frickin Gator chomp is annoying as hell, but it is quiet.

Those people think we’ve never heard cowbells before?

In Iowa?

I have to admit... I paid 20% more for my tickets because I didn’t want to sit on the cowbell side of the field. It’s like the still found a way to implement segregation.

If a Mississippi State fan rings that shit by me to an obnoxious level I will take it out of their hands and chuck it. I promise you that.

Poor midwesterners? They do realize Mississippi is one of the very poorest and dumbest states in the union right? No need to pity us for a football game, we pity them for living.

Yup. Mississippi is literally in the bottom 5 of basically every state ranking like education level, education quality, poverty level, average income, etc. I'm almost positive it was Mississippi where only like 25% of students entering high school were reading at an 8th grade level.

I might rank the OU fight song by the band every second or third play pretty close to as obnoxious as a cowbell. OU plays that’s damn song after incomplete passes. I swear.

I'm surprised that this day and age the way things are that they would let 20,000 fans in the stadium armed with a deadly weapon. I know I wouldn't want to get whacked with one of those. Kind of stupid really on the bowl officials to allow them.
