If I'm not mistaken, won't more than half of B10 teams be running some type of spread? I also think it would be pretty cool if we could remain as one of the "old school" teams; as long as we are successful at it, of course.

It's still a run based offense and we usually do well against run and spread run offenses. It's the passing spread that we do horrible against.

The way our defense has played against it the last few years I'm not too concerned. Beating the spread is about discipline on defense and that's something Iowa does pretty well imo.

Agree its the Mobile/Running QB that can throw that hurts us.

If you look back to some of those years we played Juice at Illinois or the first half against Michigan with Denard under center we took care of business. It was Forcier and his arm that almost screwed us.
