Other BIG college basketball

Did not realize that Jim Jackson's son played for Wisconsin. Man, there are a lot of second generation bball players in the Big 10 right now.

Gonzaga is shooting 60% at half and it's tied, while Illinois is shooting 40%. I have to imagine that Illinois is going to win as Gonzaga's shooting percentage will likely drop to a normal one.

Illinois isn't a bad shooting team either and their guards play great d. I'd put them solidly in as the 4th best team in the boneG. Michigan State didn't really impress me today. I

Wisconsin is now 0-3 against teams Bo Ryan put restrictions on in the Jared Uthoff transfer ordeal. Hopefully this trend continues.

How is Bo Ryan supposed to focus on basketball when he is plotting to ruin Christmas all the time?

Someone needs to tell him "It's all about priorities, Mr. Grinch!"

Butler hits a 2 with 2.5 secs left to win in OT. Had IU came away with a W, we would most likely would be hosting and undefeated and #1 ranked IU on New Years Eve.

Yeah bummer. Oh well, they should still be 3 or 4 probably.

BIG Rankings to date:
Michigan - can play about any style, Stauskas difference maker
Indiana - still have some defensive issues with Hulls on the floor, deepest team in BIG
MSU - always put it together in conference play, can Appling step up
OSU - as always starters and a bench player about as good as anyone, if Thomas can't hit a three, who can
Illinois/Minnesota - lots of talent will they flourish or fail in BIG
Iowa - young team that gets better every game, three point defense and ability to make a three determines their fate.
Wisconsin/Purdue - Two teams replacing a lot that was lost from last season
NW - No Crawford, not many wins
PSU - No Frazier, who is overrated to begin with, DJ Newbill now the one man show...ugh
Neb - Their big guy is alright, problem they have no guards, or other real talent to speak of
