OT: Wisconsin vs. Florida on ESPN 2

Couldn't be any more wrong. Here was my prediction before the game (I predicted a 10-14 point loss:

Scout.com: What to expect out of Wisconsin?

When another team hits 81% against you in the first half that is a statistical anomaly that is not something to get overly worked up about. As I said in my prediction, breaking in a new PG and another new guard on the road against a Top 10 team is a recipe for trouble. Eric Murphy had a great game but I'd give you odds that Florida doesn't hit 81% of their shots in an open gym with nobody guarding them.

Our defense needs to get better but it will. Sam Dekker needs to see more minutes, he will.

We'll be fine. We lost to Duke by 30 points in 2008 and won 30 games and the conference. Sometimes a good old fashioned butt kicking is a great teaching tool. That's what it was tonight, a good old fashioned butt kicking.

Wisconsin and Purdue are on the decline.

I would have rather watch paint dry, than watch the Vagers play BB......what a boring style of play. It is only enjoyable BB to the fan base, and only if they win with it.

Oh and ActiveBagger is correct, one loss doesn't really mean much, especially when the other team shoots 60+%. Yet anytime they lose is a good time.....especially when you get to rub it in to Bagger Trolls.....

Wisconsin is now 0-1 in games against teams that Bo put restrictions on in the Uthoff transfer ordeal. Hopefully this pattern continues.

I don't want to talk about this game. Stupid Wisconsin costing me 100,000 vMilsels. Once I saw how Florida was shooting I knew I was screwed.

Watching Brust try to play man to man defense vs. Florida was like watching me play D back in high school. I didn't.

There is no leader who can create anything on the floor for Wisconsin that holds everything together. Gasser was that guy. This Wisconsin team will struggle. Ben Brust trying to play defense? Yikes

Florida shot 60% I though Wisconsin played unbeatable defense against everey body and this year was to be their best defensive team, better than last year. not to mention Dekker was going to guarentee victory

I like Iowa's chances in both games against Wisconsin.

I do, too. I don't see Brust or Marshall being able to keep up with Gesell, Sapp or Dev. Throw in a healthy Eric May who will totally own Brust if that's his assignment. Boys versus men.

Along with the fact we can actually match up with them height wise in the paint (Maybe not strength wise but at least they won't be towering over us this year) and it looks to be favorable for us. Along with the fact our ginger is better than their ginger.

I'll never pick Iowa to win a road game in basketball (I seriously don't think I ever have in my life, maybe when they played the Citadel but even then I was skeptical) so I saw we'll split them.

So they are saying no way Iowa will beat them this year loosely based on the CMU game? I bet they would've said the same thing after the Campbell last year.

Couldn't be more wrong, huh?

Scout.com: Iowa

I don't know what type of correlation that you are trying to make? Iowa looked bad at home against an undermanned CMU team.

Trying to draw some type of correlation to Iowa beating CMU at home to Wisconsin getting ripped apart by veteran Florida team @ Florida is like trying to draw some type of comparison about my ability to land Kate Upton because I landed the captain of my high school cheerleading team in a town of 5,000. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

We just lost our starting PG 2 weeks prior to this game. No one was expecting a win. I myself predicted a 10-14 point loss prior to the game as my link indicated. We'll get it figured out, we always do.
