OT: New Years Eve Plansed tonight

When I was younger and dating and then with my wife pre-kids we would go to new years eve parties, bars, most times stay pretty level headed. Back then my wife didnt drink much and one of us was good for driving. After-kids when I was 32 we were mostly stay at home and even after the kids left the nest unless one of our really good friends had a party. By 32 years old I had enough new years eve fun.

We plan to go to confluence tap room in des moines around 7 til about 9 and have a few beers with friends.

My wife hasnt been drinking for 20 or so years since one Margarita made the tip of her nose and her fingers numb. Lightweight . So she is my driver.

when I was a kid my parents and friends of theirs with kids of their own would get hotel rooms at a local hotel. They would usually get rooms near the pool area, bring a few coolers of food, snacks, drinks for kids, beer, champaign and we would have pizza delivered to the hotel. That was so much fun back then.

I caught it, it was kind of entertaining but very corny. I wonder what they did to make those stairs so slippery? Gronk is like Shaq, kind of a child like personality inside a grown man's body. Very like able guys, they should team up and start their own game show.
