I have not seen a Big Ten college coach love themselves this much since... Alford. Quite honestly... this puts Izzo beyond Alford in the self love-fest!

I had a nice visit with a couple of MSU fans at the game on Sat. They talked a lot about Izzo and how much the fans like him. They said the kids would run through a wall for him; said that Izzo can yell, scream and chew on a player and the kid will put his arm around Izzo, take the flack, and then do as told. They said no kid will ever be alone on campus during a holiday break if they cannot go home...they will be at Izzo's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Also commented that he is a huge football fan...makes all games. And, a great supporter of the University, financially, but is a public relations genius. Great recruiter...relates very well to parents about the MSU basketball family. I said, "...sounds a lot like Fran Mac to me."
