Florida State is undefeated, so even though they squeaked by in 6 games, played a weak schedule, and likely have a criminal as their starting qb, they are gonna get in....and get embarrassed by Alabama. I will say this though, their rb, Cook, is a beast, and far more important than winston.

I've said for 6 weeks now that ESPN and the committee will do everything they can to shoehorn OSU into the playoff, and I'll bet you anything it happens. There is NO way that their body of work is better than TCU....not to mention how clearly better the Big 12 is over the Big 10.

I absolutely agree. But concerning body of work and overall conference strength, I would give both TCU and OSU the edge over fsu.

Undefeated should matter, but if body of work, strength of conference, howbyou win (style points), and how a team is playing in Nov/Dec really matter...fsu should be out. Plus, winston and fisher are icky.

Agreed on FSU being...um...icky. I had a real inner struggle tonite rooting for Georgia Tech knowing it would put OSU in the playoff.

I just wanna say that our loss to Iowa State made their ranking so bad that TCU could beat them and drop in the rankings just in time for Ohio State to sneak into the final four. A lot of people were critical of Ferentz after the game, but now we can see that Ferentz had a plan and the haters didn't.

Disagree on both counts. tOSU has a better resume than both teams, and the B1G and Big 12 are about equal. B1G is much deeper and doesn't have ISU.

Why not? If you are a TV exec whose company is paying billions for the CFP and you have a chance to setup a Bama vs OSU with Saban vs Meyer matchup. Instead you want Baylor or TCU who both have dinky fan bases and zero national interest. Hello NO BRAINER.

I thought I heard that this year's Baylor vs ISU game set the record for fewest TV eyeballs ever on Fox.

People, somebody has to pay the bills and outside of Texas and maybe Oklahoma no one in the Big 12 does. It does not matter if they score 100 pts a game.

Saw it coming a mile away. B12 has no champ. Committee said they'd be weighing champs heavier than non-champs.

Bowlsby tried to finesse it. It backfired horribly. B12 needs to get back to 12, and institute a champ game.
