Let's get it going. Spank was probably going to do this tomorrow, but let's get it on. First defense of the number 1 ranking. I know you will all be watching.:D Don't usually make predictions but I think they play them tough and it is within 10 points. They obviously won't win but if they do I will be going Will Ferrell around my neighborhood. Caught Diebler's comments on the BTN tonight and thought he was a class guy. Yeah he gave coach speak but he had nice things to say about Iowa. They will be ready, no doubt but I think/hope we put up a fight. Go Hawks.
 
Iowa loses by 21. Could be worse but Thad Matta takes his foot off the pedal with five minutes left and inserts reserves.

Wasn't Iowa ranked #1 in 18-0 in '86-'87 when Ohio State beat us? Not saying the same thing is going to happen, just a coincidence if I'm remembering things correctly.
 
OSU isn't going to sleepwalk through this one. They will be up by 10 five minutes into the game, and Iowa will never be in it.
 
Ugly 82-55 Osu has NBA prospects & we have high school all-conference players, mark my word that Fran and staff are learning what type of players he needs to win in this conference, I honestly feel it will better next yr

On top of setting a school record for worst conference start (0-6), we will also set the record for worst conference road loss.

OSU - 92
Iowa - 47
 
Come on now fellas. They've had 2 really bad losses and one of them was expected. They came back and made it a game against Minny until they pulled away late. Spank, you gotta pick me up here and weigh in.

Now that is what I'm talkin' about!!! Me and you O'keefe, gonna will this team to a W. Remember Chaminade over Ralphy Sampson's Virginia team in 1982? Or how about the Richmond Spiders over the overwhelming favorite Syracuse Orangeman in 1991. And who could forget our beloved Hampton Pirates rolling the Clowns in 2001? It can happen. McCabe is going to go bizerk and hit 10 threes, mark it down people.
