OSU out due to loss to Iowa

College Football in SEC country is a religion...many attend...and die for it...follow it 24/7

College Football in the Midwest is a pastime...some attend...some follow...

OSU got beat by Iowa by 30+ points...did you see Iowa play this year, most of the games?

OSU beat an untested and overrated Wisconsin team which struggled vs Purdue...FAKE 12-0

OSU didn't belong...in the end...glad Wisky puked it on the field...
Wisconsin has a tougher schedule than Alabama according to Sagarin. If they are fake, then what is Alabama?

OSU is just not that good. Both teams in the Big Championship have severe limitations. They would get ripped to shreds. Fact is that OK was 1 loss and won their conference. OSU had their chance against OU and looked bad.

Think about it. If Kentucky shredded Bama, what would happen?

The problem for OSU is the OK loss and the fact that Iowa is probably much better than advertised. At times they - Iowa are like a top 10 team. They aren't coached like they are though.

What was funny is that OSU wasn't even "Ferentzed" in a close loss at the end.

Both teams last night had wide open plays that should have scored and they couldn't convert. It wasn't because of the D. Both teams were banking on tendencies and coulda/shoulda been burned more.

That said, have you ever seen an Iowa team that gave up big scoring plays more than the 17 Hawks?

If Kentucky--with a 7-5 record-- shredded Bama, they'd be ranked 12th in CFP in the last overnight rankings post-CCG being played.

ESPN's and the NCAA's love affair with the SEC is unnatural and ought to be investigated.

If they actually investigated, and all the cheating was exposed, the NCAA would be shown to be actively negligent and would cease to exist as a governing body. That's happening in the basketball world, right now, due to an F.B.I. investigation.

It would make steroids in baseball look like a molehill. The exploitation of players in the SEC is very near to criminal.

It's all fake! People act like every team has a shot at the title, but they don't.

If you aren't in this list of schools , you will never compete for a national title and win. There are humans with massive investment in ensuring this fact. There's really two divisions in FBS, the ones competing for championships, and the also have football schools.

per the first thing out of the mouth of the head committee member. So Iowa goes to Ames and wins and then Ames goes to Norman and wins and Ok gets #2 in the playoffs??? Hmmm

Dont even try to figure this shit out or think there is any logic behind it. All money all the time.

This year? Have you watched them? They are getting in on nothing but name brand. Wisconsin’s wins against Michigan, NW, and Florida Atlantic are as good as any win Alabama has.
Oddsmakers would have had Alabama a 5.5 point favorite if they had played.

I’m so looking forward to work tomorrow, I work with two Alabama fans and one Ohio State fan. Entertainment for hours. :p:D

Iowa's reward for beating tOSU is being demoted to the Pinstripe bowl. We probably would have been better off beating Purdue instead. Jackass playoff committee.

I hate to say this but we were not really that good this year despite a hard fought loss to Penn State and an exhilarating blowout of Ohio State. I mean our record speaks for itself.

At 7-5, I don't expect much and I don't think any Iowa fan should.

And that's why they need to go to 6 teams,Big 5 Conference Champions and 1 wildcard team.Otherwise why even have a Conference Championship game if it doesn't matter.

I honestly can't see why OSU or USC deserve to be in over any of the teams selected.

Trading the tOSU win for Purdue doesn't change anything, trading the tOSU win for Purdue AND Northwestern would get us to 8-4 and in the Holiday Bowl.

Don't worry in 10 to 15 years Alabama will be punished for their decades of cheating.

P.S don't tell me they don't cheat.
Same with North Carolina and Kansas in basketball. Sure their name means they don't have to recruit as hard, but they do get away with things other schools don't.
