OSU-Michigan cancelled

I'm not bitter about a damn thing this season. That Northwestern and Indiana might meet for the Big Championship is just fine. Blessed to have been able to cheer on the Hawks in 2020. Love watching the black and gold. From where 2020 started, the lives lost, affected and altered due to covid....thankful is all I can muster. This season had an asterisk from the beginning

*just enjoy the opportunity to watch college football Saturdays and be thankful

Two thoughts if I did care....

This season was always about...you get what you get and don't throw a fit. Your season might get canceled. You might only play 4 games. It happens. No reason to change the rules now. Everyone was subject to the same possibilities that covid could influence the entire season.

On the other hand, OSU IS big ten football on the national scale. Let's be honest. If you had to pick one team to send to football "war" to protect your family, you send Ohio State. Yes, if any program is above the rules....covid schedule rules...its Ohio State.

Final thought. Stick with the rule. Northwestern vs Indiana. See you in 2021.

You set the rules for everyone. Maybe it was not the best well thought out plan....heck we have to sit back in our division and watch a team we are playing better than represent the West.

Sucks, but the right thing for the record book is Indiana vs Northwestern.

However, that does not mean that the defacto championship game for all intent purposes could be between Ohio St/Iowa/Wisconsin. The winner of that game will be seen be many as the best team in the conference this year. In an odd year, the best team is not playing in the title game.

Ohio St should give be given zero favors here.
