Orlando Magic sign rookie guard Devyn Marble

Niang is doing the Stauskas deal showing off his before and after body as he dropped significant weight this summer. Definitely looks much more cut now, but I wonder if he is not as effective in the post without the big butt? Does not strike me as a proto-type NBA guy, but never know.

Congrats to Dev, he earned it. On another note, there is no state income tax in Florida so he will be keeping more money than most 2nd round signees.

You forgot Garrett got cut, Babb is a lock to get cut, White didn't even get a summer league invite. Clyburn and McGee didn't even get summer league minutes. Fran is going to have more players on NBA roster on opening day than Mr Rolodex himself.

You guys kill me. ISU has been better than us each of the last two years. They were not as down as we were, so I am just comparing the last two years when we got back to decent. So you gloat about how we have a guy going to the NBA and they don't. Personally, I would rather have been better, but that wasn't really an option for us to decide.

I know the perception of the program is better as a result of having guys in the NBA. But I could really care less as it pertains to we had one / you didn't with ISU.

Agree with this. We had the only NBA talent in the state last season, and still did worse.

I'm proud of any hawkeye who makes it to the pros ... but I'd much rather see our team win.

I also don't care how ISU (or any other team) does, other than in the game(s) against Iowa. I want my school to do well.

Good for marble, and maybe for the program as a whole ... but it just makes last year more disappointing. But it's over.

Yep, and how much less could you care?
