I'm watching the replay on B1G+ and I'm really impressed with Feuerbach and Mallegni after 1 Qtr. You know Stuelke and Olsen will be all-B1G, but who else will step up?

I was totally underwhelmed by this group. Missed easy shots, were giving up boards, 3 point shooting was atrocious early. Thought Hannah was not improved from last year, even though she rolled her ankle, she was off early. The B1G ten is going to be loaded with experience and great youth. We better get a lot better quickly.

Saw same thing with Hannah at exhibition. However, seems they are trying to turn her into hybrid 4 ... had her outside pumping a couple 3s! She is best as a 5, unfortunately, undersized. She really benefitted from CC and Kate. Now ... she really did step forward from newbie to soph and expect the same this year but agree it has to happen more quickly.

Not sold on McCabe as starter and hope that's only until Syd returns. She will also bring grit.

Team will be carried by Kylie, Lucy and Syd but I really like how Jan is throwing all the newbies in for some seasoning. The brightest spot so far is Mellegni! She looked really good in exhibition - solid and consistent - and (while I didn't watch) her boxscore indicates she's gonna produce when on the floor. She's all around and can play 3 thru 5.

I’m right there with the ya. We’ve been so spoiled by Clark the last 4 years. She was sooo great at so many things and made everyone around her better. Iowa needs a leader to rally around. Maybe Sydney will be that player but TBD.

At her size, if Hannah is to have a future in the W it will be as a 4 shooting and making 3s.
