Having to deal with the ATL airport a couple of times per month, I am not surprised by this at all.Blair Sanderson @BlairRIVALS Class of 2014 OL Orlando Brown Jr. told me he had problems with his flight and is going to have to reschedule his #Iowa visit.
Well, there goes that.
Rob Howe tweeted He told Kirk maybe next week.
I tend to have a cynical viewpoint for things of this nature so sorry if I ruffle some feathers but from my vantage point it looks like this kid is just jerking Iowa's chain.

With what he has said about the relationship with KF and his deceased dad it will be hard for other schools to say negative things about KF and Iowa. They can say stuff like, you can win a NC here and not at Iowa but if they say negative things about KF the kid could take it as a insult to his dad.
Coach Nick Saban: "Oh yeah, you just got back from your visit to Iowa, huh? I tell ya, that Kirk Ferentz is a helluva coach...and a great guy. He definitely seems to have put more than his fair share of players in the NFL, I give him credit there. You know O.B., we've put few players in the NFL ourselves....many of them wearing a NC ring on their finger." ~wink~grin~wink~
Game....set......match.
"I understand what you are saying but my dad really liked Ferentz and my dad is my hero, Coach Saben."
Why do you think OB would spell "Saban" wrong?
It was a freak accident that unfortunately ended his career. It is crazy that a flag can do that much damage to someone who has a facemask.
Didn't he end up winning a big lawsuit in the end?
why would he waste his time coming up here if he had no interest?
Great read on OBj from Howe:
Scout.com: Family Ties
Brown Jr., one of the nation's top offensive line recruits, grew up hearing about Ferentz.
"It's something we talked about since I was real young," Brown Jr. said. "Kirk Ferentz was his (dad's) favorite coach and easily one of his favorite people. He helped him in all kinds of ways, from getting in shape to getting right technique wise and learning how to control his anger and channel it into football."
Brown Jr. said he's open to all of the schools recruiting him. Iowa is firmly in that mix.
"My dad always would tell me that it's my decision," Brown Jr. said. "He just told me that Iowa is a great college and Kirk Ferentz is a great coach. He's a true coach that cares. Kirk Ferentz helped him become a professional from being a I-AA player.
