Oregon St. beats Arizona in Tucson

Hurts our SOS, but I can't help but be happy.

After catching their act the next week vs Cal, I'm not surprised they spit the bit...paper tigers...I mean, cats...
 


Iowa needs to take care of their own business and they will be ok. Therefore AZ getting beat makes me very happy! Same with ISU's slaughter. I could care less about SOS, both those teams losing makes my night.

It would've been nice to get a rematch in the Rose Bowl, but now I just say screw it. I hope they get beat early and often.

Heard that they didn't even sell out their stadium. Ranked in the top 10 and they can't sell out a conference game. Unbelieveable. Horrible fans. A "Cyclonesque" performance by their fans.

This is the thing that definitely perturbs me, and I felt the same way immediately after they beat us. That being said, now that they've lost and will drop below us, I hope they win out and we meet in the Rose Bowl, which isn't completely unrealistic, though very unlikely. The problem is I don't think anybody in the Pac 10 can beat Oregon, including this same UA team.

Ugh. I got a sick feeling in my stomach when a team that beats us loses. And say what you want, SOS matters. Especially if Iowa takes care of business they will have to lean on that very SOS to get to a good bowl at the end of the year. So Arizona, Iowa State, and Penn State losing really hurts today.

Of course, I'm loving how the SEC is beating up on eachother, that should work out nicely for us.
 


I predicted AZ would have at least 3 losses this year earlier this week and many disagreed. I took Oregon St +8 tonight. Seemed like a good call as I do not think AZ is very good. Call me a bitter Iowa fan. We should be 5-0 right now with a legit shot at the NC after the Bama loss... Damn.
 


The refs stopped the game because they had another glich in there scoreboard,imagine that.Morons changing the score while game going on is very childish.

If Iowa takes care of business (I assume you mean winning every game otherwise I have no idea what "taking care of business" would mean.) Strength of schedule wouldn't matter as Iowa would be in the Rose Bowl.

It's the September syndrone for Iowa. Hawks usually play one bad game in September. Couple that with playing in the desert and a loss is what we got.

No more desert games in September. PLEASE!
