Onside Kick vs Penn St.?

Purdue just tried the onside kick in a similar situation as Iowa last week and Iowa gets the ball with good field position + the penalty. Iowa puts the game away.

I would add a "surprise" onside kick done at an obscure time is better than one expected for sure. Those actually work sometimes.

Well they tend to work great against us i.e. wisc a few years back and I was at the either central or Western mich game can't remember which, we lost because of it to.
Funny both times was the only play both teams could call because of time and we never looked for it either time.
