Only 3 players...

The ignorance being displayed in this thread is astounding. I'm talking to you, Miller bashers. I'm 61 years old, but if I hear someone near me boo him, I may get in a fight. Get a freaking life and quit piling on a kid who is doing the best he can with what he's got.

Keenen Davis was a quality WR. As was Mcnutt and DJK.

Safeties: Sanders, Considine, Sash, Greenwood just off the top of my head. None of those guys were projects. Safety has been one of the more reliable positions on the team for the better part of the Ferentz era.

We do need to do a better job of recruiting runningbacks with speed.
This is what kills me...Keenan Davis was a decent receiver at best...Marvin had a good YEAR, DJK was a bust. Now look at even running schools like Nebraska, they have wide receiver talent that we haven't touched in YEARS> Those safeties you talk about are decent Sash, Greenwood, and Considine were projects...come one. Not highly touted safeties by anyone's account...hell Sanders had one offer and that was Iowa. Last time I checked safeties and defense have not been issues with this program. WE are pathetic on the offensive side of the ball...outside of linemen. I for one have supported this staff through it all...I am done with them...no excuse for this antique style of offensive play...no excuse at all.

I won't be disappointed, for the sole reason that I fully expect him to get booed. We have a lot of dumbasses who go to games at Kinnick, and Miller has long been in the Shada Zone in terms of fan angst. He shouldn't, but he very likely will get a solid chorus of boos.

Agree.. That might be one of the low points of our program with Shada. I can be hard on players but performance issues are rarely for lack of effort or desire. Miller and Shada gave everything they had. We should not boo our players and never on Senior day. They deserve a round of applause.

I won't argue with you about Keenan. He didn't live up to lofty expectations.

Your other points are stoopid...

McNutt had one GREAT year, and the previous year was pretty darn good too, especially since he was splitting the field with DJK; which brings me to the next guy on your list... Who holds a couple receiving records. Far from a "bust".

As for the safeties... Those were all multi-year starters. Far from projects.

If a school like say Nebraska, Wisconsin were able to recruit any wide receiver we ever had...I do not realistically think they would draft or take any of our wide receivers. We are historically weak at this position and there is no reason why we should be now. As for the safeties what they end up being is not the same as what they were recruited as. I have always given this staff props for coaching up kids. How bout taking some bona fide 4 star kids and coach them up??? Just would be fun to see it happen in my lifetime. As for the stoopid comment, maybe you flunked spelling or you do not know what spell check is...not sure. I know this much I would not want you taking standardized tests at my school as you would put us in as a SINA.
