One Game At A Time

Most Hawks fans are in unchartered waters with the Hawks being 7-0. We are starting to see threads on here regarding such things as the Rose Bowl and NC game, etc. That is certainly understandable.

Let's try, as diffucult as it may be, to focus on one game at a time and not get ahead of ourselves.

I understand it's fun to think about what may happen if the Hawks go undeafeated. However, that's when you can get kicked in the gut.

Let's take care of Michigan State this week. I'm not trying to tell people what to do, but let's keep this great ride we're on, as fans, in perspective.

Go Hawks!

I don't have to focus on one game at a time. the team, yes. But the fans? No ;)

Jon,

Fair enough.

About the only way to keep my sanity and stay level headed is to view this one game at a time. I guess I can chalk up this attitude to my playing days in sports. I've been burnt more then once looking ahead.

I agree one game at a time...Lets start with Florida in the Rose Bowl for the NC...That is a good game to start with. Iowa would pick on Tebow. I sure hope anyway. But it is hard to have to root for Missouri this weekend to beat Texas.

Does this count as one game at a time...

Enjoy this man it is exciting and you don't want to sit there in a few weeks and say...man I wish we would have won that one game...That is focusing on one game. Have fun and enjoy it Hawk fans.

I an soaking up all of the media, thoughts and dreams of national championships dancing in my head! You never know when you get blind sided by Northwestern (Or Purdue if your Oh State). Lets face it, if we drop a game, all of that attention goes bye bye. My philoshpy, talk, blog, tweet and discuss how the hawks are going to beat Alabama in the NC because we may not have that opportunity next week. PS: Hawks win big in EL this weekend!!

you or me taking it one game at a time...or focusing on this week...isn't going to make a difference on how many games we win or lose this year.

im gonna talk all the national title talk i can, cuz i dont know when i will get the chance again and it may end as early as saturday.

I would like to agree with Jon. There is no reason to be superstitious about speaking well of our team. There is no such thing as "jinxing" something... unless you're speeding and say "I haven't been pulled over in years", and a cop drives by... happens all the time.

There is no such thing as "jinxing" something

except no hitters

Then Iowa is throwing a no hitter. Holding a team scorless is a shutout. Going undefeated is a no hitter, only tougher as it's for 12/13 games. For the record I hope for the latter, but only care about 8-0 this week.
