Hilarious.. Talk about a bunch of ****ups. Right after we run a play out of bounds on 3rd down saving them about 40 seconds, and 10 yards by taking 2 stupid penalties, then they do that..

This is also an example of the no advancing a muff rule helping us. If Young takes that in it's still a one score game.
I wonder if he would have had the awareness to just fall on it if the rule didn't exist and he was trained to be prepared to advance it.
I thought the same thing as the OP, but from another angle the contact was pretty incidental and likely more on ISU pushing the Hawk.
Also the angle that Young was coming from would have made it difficult to stay inbounds had he tried to run with it. In any case, he made the smart play and it worked out for the best.Well he did just fall on it because it was so bang bang quick. Give Young credit for good hands and not muffing it out of bounds.

There is not any penalty for a shove that is not from behind and that is not holding.
