The kid is choosing to sit out a year instead of playing at Michigan and then coming here without sitting out. I'd say that's plenty of reason for fans to accept that he wants to be here bad.

Well we had two first round draft choice tight ends that helped in recruiting tight ends. Maybe this might jump start recruiting receivers. Especially if you don’t have to do a sleepover like Jim Harbaugh does.

I can't imagine the hype this year would have if all 4 underclassmen came back. We would be one really good running back from possibly the best iowa team ever.

On a serious note this is awesome and definitely takes the pressure a bit off WR recruiting in the 2020 class. Actually feeling good about that position group going forward.

if the waiver is approved, then we lost nothing. a RS and a toe in the water RS FR season at UM. he comes to iowa B1G experienced and ready to go. that would be a perfect world scenario.

If he knew this is what he wanted, why wait? He has a year to learn and work out with the team and gain confidence of coaches.

And yes he was going to graduate. Guessing would have had to do summer courses in 2020.
