OL Recruit

I think he would be about 15th in line for the starting 5 jobs. Are you sure he has interest? Iowa is loaded in the OL right now...they have pretty much gotten the guys they have wanted for the past two years. There is a solid backlog of good young guys...who are battling for playing time right now...then a solid class coming in.
 
What I find really strange is how Iowa doesn't get mostly 4* OL recruits with Iowa's history of getting OL players in the NFL and ready to play right away. Just think if KF got 4 & 5* recruits and had his line loaded with them. Iowa's offense would be night and day different with the running game, controlling the clock and pass protection.
 
Bulaga, Donnal, Blythe, Scherff (4* to some). The guys we have on the roster now will go pro too including James Daniels. So we've a few. Dline, it seems like every highly touted guy we've had lately goes pro.
 
I'm talking at the same time on a consistent basis. You would think any O lineman would hop on the chance to go to Iowa with KF's background and NFL contacts.
 
I thought KF took personal pride in NOT getting four or five star guys. Like he had an interview, or maybe it was BF, where he said that as long as he was here that there wouldn't be a bunch of five star guys starting on the offensive line.
