By the Rice game, half of my crew just flat out stopped going to the games and just tailgated. One of my buddies already decided he's out for season tix next year, he just wants to tailgate. Our tailgate has zero Northwestern fans at it and everyone sports their school's colors. Next year we are getting a generator so we can set up a TV out there so we won't miss any key games.

Are you going to transport the party rig to Soldiers Field Sep 1 2012 for the Iowa vs NIU game??
I reckon there'll be some Western Suburb Hawk talent wandering around the lots on that day. :cool:

Prolly not. The dude with the fryer is a KU fan and he has already told me has no intention of going to the game at Soldiers. Plus, the last time we played there (a) they had 4 porta potties for about 50,000 people, (b) they had 1 big dumpster for the entire lot so it was a landfill by kickoff and (c) Soldiers ran out of beer, so I can't in good conscience ask my crew to go down there. However, I do note that I always use someone else's vehicle for tailgating. Never take your own ride to a tailgate unless you want me to spill barbecue sauce and other stuff all over inside of it.
 




Cripes! Even I, a girl and a ginger :rolleyes: have caught on long ago to this fact; OK4P IS a true Hawk fan, he's just full of sh1t.... like the other 90% that frequent this board. Most just don't get or don't like his sense of humor. Those are the ones that make reading posts after his, the most enjoyable. :)

Remind me to tell you a funny (to me, anyway) story about what some derelict did to 101's car before the Northwestern game.
It involves a sunroof that was carelessly left open.

So if we don't find him funny, we don't "get it". I see how it works. I guess now I have a different view of the people who don't find me funny. :rolleyes:

I didn't say that. There were two choices there bub. Those that don't get his sense of humor and think everything he's says is the gosh honest truth and that tics them off, or those that know he's BSing and still get pjs$ed off. Either of those responses are funny too me. It's his own version of gallows humor. Lots of people don't like that. I happen to enjoy it.
