Yeah Kirk's teams usually look sleepy after a bye. I'm expecting another close one just like the last trip to TCF. However, Iowa doesn't have AW to save them this time and Minnesota has a WR that could have a field day against Iowa's CBs
Because our D Line won't have opportunities to get to the QB at all right? K
If Minnesota's OL isn't very good I'd expect our DL to get a lot of pressure on their QB. Iowa's DL has clearly proven they can handle OLs that aren't very good. I don't know anything about their OL though.
The question will be can they handle it if Minnesota has an average or good OL?
We don't have to ask how Iowa's DL will do against a great OL. That was answered all night Saturday.
We also don't need to wonder how Iowa's DBs & LBs will do against a average at best QBs and average at best WRs. That was also answered all night Saturday night.
So they’re without a key player in the secondary
That sounds like a recipe to run stretch zone runs to short side of field 50+ times
Absolutely, my Vikings went to GB and came out with a tie then got their asses handed to then by a bad Bills team this week. This is what Kirk usually does well is getting his team up after a tough loss.Yeah were all sick about giving the Bucky game away. But let's not let what could still be a good season go down the toilet by losing to a hapless Minnesota team. Now without Winfield Jr on D.
