Ohio state vs Michigan state

OSU's offense is horrid. Of all the seasons IA don't get OSU, this has to be one? Dammit! That said, MSU isn't overly impressive, either. I'm really not impressed w/ MSU's intelligence, either. I watched them play ND and there was a lot of jawing and "afters," w/ MSU players seeming intent on constantly getting one last shove. It's not as bad today as when they played ND, but I just saw a clearly late hit against an MSU DB. OSU's offense has been almost 100% inept, yet MSU players are dumb enough to give them a free 15 yards and a chance to get going. Stupidity on the football field is never impressive (unless someone happens to be "impressively stupid," which MSU's D seems intent on proving).

I would agree with. Both teams are playing very poorly.

Never thought I'd say this but if MSU scores and makes it a 2 score game even at 10, I think it's over. At this pace, OSU's offense may not put up 20 in a game the rest of the season.

I really can't stop laughing at them trying to do anything on offense. How can a team with that many big time recruits be this bad?

The other aspect is that it's really hard to tell just how good MSU is(n't). For most of this game OSU's offense has been so incompetent that you really can't judge much from this game. I still think OSU's defense is formidable, but their offense is shockingly horrid, and MSU is like a gang of sharks that smell blood in the water - they're attacking anything and everything, and OSU is too inept to do anything about it.

And I agree that it's amazing w/ the number of stars by the names of OSU's offensive recruits, how can they be this inept? I understand not being good and having off days, but they may have negative offensive yards in the 2nd half.

I can't even find a way to describe how pathetic OSU's quarterback situation is. I think half of the posters on this site can play better.

Do you remember that glitch in Super Tecmo Bowl, when if you selected the nose tackle and hit one of the buttons at just the right time, you could sack the other team's QB before they could even drop back?

Michigan State has done that about 15 times today.

Well played, Mayer!
