He's not Joe Namath but he's been made the whipping boy and that's not fair.

Beathard is timid at best and scared at worst. It is probably coaching but he deserves it too

I don't think Illinois could score against no defense on the field at this point. I expect conservative play calling by Iowa.

The offense has regressed from last year. Is that 100% on CJB? Of course not. Is CJB the leader of the regressing offense? Yes he is.
