****OFFICIAL Transfer/Leaving-early-for-the-NFL Tracking Thread****

Brandon Simon makes the list.

Some of you may be asking, "Is this year a typical exodus?"

A: Yes & No

(1) Yes, most years we have over a dozen players leave/quit/expelled for various reasons. (2) No, I can't recall Iowa ever having 4 underclassmen declare for the draft. Obviously this has people worried. I think we win 9 games next year because what we have returning is pretty impressive imo.

Great story about Boyle . . . looks like he has really turned around his team. 0-11 to 7-4 in one year

Boyle completed 62.4% of his passes for 1,627 yards with 12 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He rushed for another 610 and six scores. He was a team captain, the MVC's newcomer of the year and second-team all-conference.
Boyle has accomplished the first half of what he came to Terre Haute to do. A program that went 0-11 without him went 7-4 with him — and nearly made the FCS playoffs.

And he's still got one season to go. His final season.

16 total. Half that number was likely unavoidable.

Actually I'm pretty pleased, I expected to lose more talent with the portal and depth. We head into 2019 loaded on the depth chart.
