Iowa had a kick like that last year, if any portion of the football is over the upright it is no good. These garbage refs did not even call a penalty against ndsu until the 4th quarter! They cost Iowa at least 3 points with a bs holding call too. That should have made it so that fg would not matter anyways.

Reality is we could still win the west but good luck getting in the playoffs. This is me being positive.
Reality we might lose 3-4 games this year. This continues the 4.5 million dollar man's stellar September record against shiz box teams.
Do they even change the game plan from week to week?

I'm honestly more upset with the level of Iowa's play, on both sides of the ball, than actually losing the game. They've played three games and the two teams with a offensive pulse gashed Iowa's D for parts of the game. Iowa State is just bad, so that game is pretty meaningless. The inability of Iowa to move the ball today is pretty wtf. Outside of the long run that got called back, the running game was MIA.

This is obviously not a playoff-quality team, so, ultimately, this loss probably won't mean much. The B1G is what matters now. Let's hope this team can get its stuff together.
