Kirk has done a good job of convincing Barta to be grateful we're not Iowa State. Great coaches don't spend all their time being grateful they aren't the worst . . . instead they get angry if they aren't the best.

I'm usually satisfied with Kirk's coaching but I'm so tired of not letting excitement get into the team. Style points are big in college football right now. It helps from a national perspective and recruiting. Kirk is probably the least inspiring coach in the country. He has many fine qualities as a person but it's ok to live it up every 18 years or so.

Relax. They simply took their foot of the gas. Probably should have run plays with the 2s like they did with the 1s in the first half, but you can't expect too much from the stringers.
