What I noticed is Iowa’s game plan is for slow developing routes, instead of quick hitters. That TD took quite awhile to develop and I’m shocked our O line held up.
 
But there is part of the issue. That's the only time when Stanley can be productive but that's only a small part of the reality of what happens in games. ANY college QB can make those throws.
It is a confidence thing. He's got the arm strength that can put the ball into tight windows and when he really gets a chance to step into one, he's very good. He didn't have to be extremely good on that throw, but it's something to build on.
 
I liked how the broadcaster said Iowa and NW based on defense and as the game has evolved they stay with the same program . Paraphrased, but spot on. Crap offense and hope the defense keeps you in it.
