after what I saw today I switched to basketball mode. at least the team is fun to watch.

I didn't care about record this season for football. I care about seeing a new offensive philosophy with more aggression from (the only person on the planet who can stand up to kirk and should be the) new OC. I ain't seeing it. what we're seeing is brian trying to figure out how to be conservative.

Couldn't communicate on the field at times due to the crowd noise.................

Agreed. Iowa hoops may not always be the best team in the world but they always at least give me some hope and show some flashes, but this football product is beyond stale.

Cubs season is done.. Iowa football... It's NHL season for me at this point. At least until hoops starts.
Try women's indoor volleyball.Great sport.Iowa surfer suggests. And Pray for surf please.
For once it'd be nice if ferentz just came out and said the play calling was bad.

Ferentz’s quotes after a loss are canned responses and haven’t changed in 20 years, they won’t change going forward.

“I’m proud of our kids today, I thought they all played hard.”

“ABC is a great football team, XYZ does a great job coaching and it’s always a tough game when we play them.”

“We didn’t execute when we needed to.”

“There are some things we have to work on in practice.”

“Sometimes things go your way, sometimes they don’t. Today they didn’t go our way.”

“That’s football.”

That is almost verbatim what he’s said after a loss for 20 years and will say for the next 5-10.
