Official NCAA RPI Released Yesterday

So we still might be back????????

BTW, the ranks of our non conference opponents would be nice to have in your post as well. ;)

if we go .500 in conf. with a couple upsets like last year, we're in the tourney

Possible upset targets:
MSU this Thursday; Wisky next Saturday; at OSU the 22nd; at Wisky 2/6; maybe Minny 2/17, Illannoy 3/5.

Three are during the "last 10" but there will also be butt-kickings in the high-teens / low twenties during that time, as well (at Minny and at Indy).

The key to staying a bubble team is making sure to avoid being the upset-ee and taking care of Carver during February and March. Chalk says 5-5 over the last 10 - not very impressive - but beating Minny or Illannoy at home and Wisconsin on the road would get the last 10 to a solid 6-4 or 7-3. Even then, I still think it takes at least 1 win in the conf tourney to get a 10-12 seed in the dance.

I just get a feeling it's still a year away, as long as RDM doesn't get delusional and declare.

The game Thursday will do much to influence my opinion on if they are in or not. Right now I say they'll make it but if they lose to Michigan State they only have two more shots at getting the two upsets they likely need. I like their chances of splitting Minnesota and Illinois than I do of taking both.

Illinois is only on the schedule once.

The only 2 ranked teams the Hawks play twice are Minnesota and Indiana.

I know. The remaining ranked teams we play at home are MSU, Illinois and Minnesota. In my mind we have to beat 2 of those at home to make it as I don't see us beating a ranked team on the road, thus if we beat MSU, we would only have to split the Illinois and Minnesota games as opposed to beating both.

That's more of what I was getting at though it wasn't too clear.
