lol. okay. Who should be benched or fired after those 35 unanswered points. Love those armchair QBs. His QBR was high. He had 220 yards. No INTs. Very few penalties. Few sacks. 3 Tds. Pretty good. Good QBR for the game overall. First year starter. WTH are you looking for?

I agree that he has been really bad at times but if some of you got your wish and they put in the second string QB after being down, I'd wager we would've lost. In KF I trust.

I think you should still start another thread about how bad he is. Love this board. Lol

Not at all - As I stated - I think the light switch went on for Pete. The look off pass to TG for the 2 was really good. The look off pass that went to the TE in the EZ was amazing. He seemed to stop the stare down crap after he knew he got lucky with the two hand tipped pass that went to #84. Actually - the first time I was glad he throws the ball 95mph.

Petras stooped to a new nadir when he had first and goal at the five and proceeded to run a Chinese fire drill for three downs.

He looked like a different player in the second half. Heck, when was the last time we had a successful two point conversion? At Purdue two years ago? I don't recall the last one.

In fairness, there were 20 seconds left and no timeouts. Everybody in the stadium (OK all 200 of them) knew that we weren't going to run the ball. That is a difficult situation for any quarterback and probably not a lot of plays that were going to work.
 
I agree, no attacks, great banter and living each snap. The moans and groans, but the "Touchdown Iowa" is always the best along with the W. Bewbs are always welcomed. Go Hawks

Agreed. We wasted a time out. I still think we had time to run the ball, then spike as needed. If we ever throw that damn fade in the corner when there is only one receiver ever again, I am going to throw bricks at the TV. That must be one of the worst % routes in football.
