Iowa is definitely taking the momentum in this one. They should be up 17-14 since there was obvious offensive PI on the last purdont TD. Iowa gets the ball to start the second half, and will go on a nice long TD drive to take the lead for good. Iowa is clearly the better team, purdont has simply benefited from some poor officiating thus far. Also on the play prior to one of the other TDs, what looked to be a completion and fumble was called incomplete, and it should have been reviewed and overturned.

I like your enthusiasm but i havent seen iowa as the better team....so far

The difference is if you get a TD your are guaranteed to be up by 3 as long as you make the extra point.

That makes sense but the problem may be that we will score a TD after they score three TDs.

I believe Iowa is not really making it that difficult to get the ball to him. 4 / 5 second drag routes are too easy for even 7 yard gains. Iowa Safeties look bad - because the QB has wayyyyyy toooooo much time!

I saw some really touchy light contact very light contact PI calls in one early game but I dont think the PU guy pushed off that much. Moss had already misplayed what must have been a wind aided throw.

The roughing the passer on AJ call before that was also nonsense. The Iowa defense was doing what it needed to do in the 2nd quarter, but the refs set up that last TD for purdont.

The hawks played gutty, got beat bad on one td and not giving up much running yardage put the big pass plays.

Really needed that score at the end and Nate and offense are playing decent
