***OFFICIAL Iowa vs Rodents Upset thread***

No, he is hurt you doofus. He can't do much offensively. He won't get over his turf toe until he gets off it and rests.

Doofus......funny! OK Mr. Negative. Marble does not seem to be laboring any on a bad toe. If it were so bad that it were dramatically affecting his play, Fran would sit him. Trust me, if Marble had a bad case of turf toe, you would see him favoring it. Minnesota is sitting back in a zone. Marble is not shooting well from the outside, and he is not going to drive against the zone. The Gophers are effectively taking his game away defensively. It is not because of some turf toe injury!

Starting now, with the 2nd half. Marble should sit. He's not a 100% and he isn't helping Iowa at all. He should sit for the next 2 weeks.

I dont really get this line of thinking. JO shooting is basically a turnover

He's 2/6 from 3. I can live with that. The game turned around when he came in. We're not going to beat Minnesota inside.

Plus Minnesota has been terrible all year when it comes to giving up offensive rebounds and we're seeing that again today. White, Marble, Basbabe aren't going to be able to get anything going inside, where do you think Iowa is going to get it's points from?

I am pleasantly surprised with JO this game. It is still obvious that his head is in the way as he shoots better in transition when he doesn't have time to think about it, but he hasn't been as much of a liability as usual.

At 14-2 I was getting prepared to turn it off and go back to Super Bowl prep.

2 things about this team, they don't give up and Fran is great at making in game adjustments.

Marble looks slow and not able to beat Mo Walker off the dribble is not encouraging. Iowa plays well and with rhythm when he has been sitting in the last three games.

Should Marble ride the pine? What is he giving us?

Fact or Fiction

Would JO score 50 or more points in the Grinnell System?
