You know it looks like every 2nd half we've seen this season.

I wish for once our coaches didn't coach scared. It rubs off on the players.

Other than the first drives against OSU and NW, this offense is reminding me of last year's. Poor play designs, poor play calling, and lack of explosive playmakers to make up for the coaching.

Defense is playing lights out... This offense, however, is just plain ugly.

Those same type of plays for Davis fired from Texas, and they have 10 times the athletes Iowa has.

Worse hire than Steve Alford.

Gotta agree. If he got fired from TX with all of the athletes he had to work with, why on earth did anyone expect better results with Iowa's athletes?

Defense needs to make a play to turn this thing around.

I asked a Texas fan on another Message board I visit about Davis when he was hired. He said everything this board says. Throws short of the marker on 3rd and whatever. So he did it at Texas, where someone said they have better athlete. Why did KF think it would work at Iowa?

2nd half and the offense has gone stale. Same as it ever was.

Outside of two big plays for a TD, the defense looks great.

Other than our terrible pass coverage which is a staple of the D this year, the D is playing exceptional.

Why? Same result. Loss on a run, short gain to the TE on a play they have not been using today, incomplete pass under pressure.

Oh, and even if he had caught the ball, Hillyer was still short of a first down.
