!*****Official Iowa @ Pleasantville Nebraska Game Thread*****!

I think it is pretty self explanatory

I'm not a Uhl supporter, I was higher on him before this season but he just doesn't have it right now. I'm just saying if he was a fan favorite like Bohannon but not really being that productive and people criticized it I wouldn't call someone out for rooting against them.

Everything. Virtually every single person here disagrees with your opinion. I'm not going to do this circle jerk with you. You're always wrong. Plain and simple.

Wouldn't it be easier just to name one or two things else I've been wrong about besides Moss. Just because people disagree with my opinion doesn't mean I'm wrong. Everyone disagreed with my opinion of CW and I was right about that

The things you say you're right on can't be proven, you're like someone who believes Big Foot or Aliens are real and you're right about it.

no one disagrees with that do they? I think it's too early to completely bail on him entirely, but yeah, I agree with that. For as long as he is, his D is not good either.

I was just told I'm always wrong, we can all agree I was right about CW and wrong about Moss. I'm asking what else I've been wrong about

Beilein told reporters after his team lost to Iowa 86-83 in overtime Sunday. “I don’t know where he was in the recruiting world or where he was recruited, but that kid is playing as good as any freshman point guard in the country.’’

Why do you value a the opinion of some random sports writer over an actual coach?

The story is a bit deeper than than. JB plays a lot like Beilien's uncle did (long time ago). Tremendous passer with a lot of moxy. Not the tallest guy on the court at guard, but it' the passing. Gives Jok a chance to flow into the game.

Belien's uncle was a hall of fame coach who was one of the coaches that really changed the game toward the point guard that creates offense. His uncle was Bielien's mentor and speaking of hiring relatives, his uncle gave the Michigan coach his first head coach gig.

On the moxy part, his uncle pretty much single handed took down SMU's Pony Express and Barry Switzer. His family was the family of Saving Private Ryan fame. He earned a Silver Star in WW2.

Knowing quite a bit about the situation, the compliment about JB was likely much deeper than face what might otherwise appear.

The kid is going to be fine and will raise the bar of those around him. I just hope the talent around him continues to improve. I didn't really notice the worth of JB until Jok changed.
