Iowa doesn't throw the ball that much, but even Oklahoma's qb doesn't always connect perfectly.

Probably bc he's a threat at any point to house it on the ground. Stanley is a cigar store wooden Indian back there. He either is accurate or pretty much useless at QB.

My head is still smoking over that boneheaded throw by Stanley. At this competition level and with his supposed experience, you simply DO NOT make that throw. NOT EVER. To make that kind of play suggests a complete lack of game awareness. WTF was he thinking???

If I'm Brian or Kirk, Stanley rides pine the rest of the game and there is a true quarterback battle starting in the second half.

That throw was simply unforgivable.

Has to be thrown out of bounds. Has to.

Our freshman cornerback Riley Moss was getting torched all first half, then made a great interception in the end zone for his first INT ever. He was ecstatic. The whole team was jubilant for him. On the very next play Stanley was being chased out of the pocket on first down and easily could have thrown the ball out of bounds. Instead he threw it directly to a Goofer defender 10 yards away. Minny scored moments later.

Pretty much sums up Iowa football under Kirk Ferentz.
