Official "Iowa Hawkeyes vs. UGDR" (Under Ground Dwelling Rodents) Thread

Stanley's TD's mask how poorly he throws the ball most of the time. I'm really tired of him.

How many left out there? How many were good to great catches from our WR/TE? Most not named Hockensen drop the 100mph fast ball from 5yds out. Fant would still be running if Stanley doesn't throw 3yds behind him. Can't even hit Easley in stride on a swing pass. That's garbage.

It's hard for me to argue that a qb on pace for 6 tds is having a bad game. He's not Aaron Rodgers, but he isn't Jake Christensen, either.

That was an all world F up by Stanley. Like, Cleveland Browns vs Detroit Lions 0-16 battle royale type F up. It’s painfully obvious he’s just not anything close to a natural born leader type quarterback. He might have arm strength, his old man might have been a high school coach, he might be big and strong. But that is unacceptable.

That was a good dominating first half, the goofers got a few lucky bounces so the score is closer than the game actually is. Iowa is an even more dominant second half team, and the goofers won't get that lucky again. Iowa will cruise.

My head is still smoking over that boneheaded throw by Stanley. At this competition level and with his supposed experience, you simply DO NOT make that throw. NOT EVER. To make that kind of play suggests a complete lack of game awareness. WTF was he thinking???

If I'm Brian or Kirk, Stanley rides pine the rest of the game and there is a true quarterback battle starting in the second half.

That throw was simply unforgivable.

The TD's don't tell the whole story only about 30% of it. He consistently throws behind his receivers. He consistently throws bullets when he doesn't need to. He makes head scratchingly bad decisions at times.

Iowa doesn't throw the ball that much, but even Oklahoma's qb doesn't always connect perfectly.

Sure. But 4 bad passes in 50 compared with 4 bad passes in 15 is a big difference. (These are made up stats to emphasize my point. Thank you.)

Yep...its kinda like me and bad luck...if Stanley didnt throw passes to receivers feet or behind them he would have no passes at all
