Official Iowa beats NW prediction thread

NOTICE: You can't post in this thread if you think the Hawks are going to lose on Saturday. Jon, please ban anyone that does. My radio was cutting in and out last night when you gave your prediction but I know you picked the Hawks so feel free to post in here.

I'll start. Hawks 38 Kittens 27
 






Ohh give me a break pal. I just bumped your thread. I have not made a prediction yet and I refuse to. I predicted way too high for the Hawks in the last one and dont want to put my bad juju on this game.

Also to say Hawk fans continue doesnt make sense. No one has posted yet.

Oh, they will pal. Just wait until the am when this thread picks up steam. Plus, Deace agrees with me. And I am a true Hawk fan unlike you.
 










I think the defense comes out and plays a good game after the embarrassing drive that Penn St. had in the 4th quarter. Persa goes down injured in the 2nd and Iowa rolls on to win 27-10
 


Up and down day to watch, but in the end very satisfying as Iowa D gives up some yardage between the 20's, is tough in the red zone, and forces 2-3 turnovers. The offense really takes offense to film of last Saturday and controls the clock, and ends up with a balanced attack cause it all works. Vandy throws the ball around like he's back playing for Keokuk Chiefs, and Iowa pulls away in 4th for a 41-27 victory.
 


42-28 Hawks. High scoring wild game. Vandenburg will be on his game and McNutt will get utilized this week taking advantage of the mismatch against NU's secondary. Persa will do some damage and frustrate us, but in the end our D makes more stops than theirs.
 


Iowa 45
NW 24

Kirk unleashes the offense. Vandy throws long early and often.

Sure....it could happen.

BTW....every time I pick Iowa to win...they lose.

So in order to be a true Hawkeye fan you have to think they're going to win every game?

I think Jon picked NW. So he is no longer a Hawkeye fan?

I read it. But I'm pretty sure there was a thread started yesterday giving Jon a hard time because his pre-season pick for this game was Iowa but he picked NW this week.
