** OFFICIAL I DONT FOLLOW NBA THREAD**

Agree that the NBA is unwatchable. Little / no defense, terrible fundamentals, traveling could / should be called on every possession and outside of a handful of teams, the talent just isn't there. The result of years of one and done and high school kids getting drafted who would rather get their stats on a losing team, than play team ball and win. These teams would get destroyed by the teams from 80's.

Wow, so much fail in one post...

First of all, most NBA teams defense and fundamentals are leagues ahead of college, and it's not even comparable. To even say that there is neither in the NBA is an asinine statement on its face.

I also like how you complain that there isn't an even distribution of talent, and then talk wistfully of the 80's. In the 80's, only two teams from the West made it to the finals, and only three teams from the East made the finals. The 80's was literally nothing but talent concentrated on a few teams, and the rest of the league was GARBAGE!

Ghost is once again spot on. Some of you could really learn something from him.

You stiffs who hate teh NBA missed an amazing, overtime game between the Bulls and the Heat last night.

Only if you watched the last 2 minutes of the game, and if you are a Bulls fan, the overtime. The rest of the game was painful to watch. Both teams looked liked tired heavy weight fighters duking it out in the 15th round. This schedule is really starting to take it's toll on the players.

Yeah, it's not like the biggest lead in the 4th quarter was 4 points. It sure is boring to watch two great teams play a close game.

If you like it, watch it. If you don't like it, don't watch it. No need to tell everyone how much you don't like something.

Gilbert Arenas still plays? Wouldn't the fact that after he got in trouble, his career imploded, he went to jail, and he lost his huge contract? If he were in the NFL, he would have gotten 4 games for raping a chick.

It's funny how when these guys are in college they're not thugs, but rather "student athletes" but as soon as they get into the NBA and get paid people lose all respect for them.

Gilbert didn't go to jail or lose his contract. He still got paid.

Unfortunately my Magic are paying him to not play for the next couple of years :(

Worse yet it's the best decision they could have made after stupidly trading for him in the first place.

To be fair, if you didn't stupidly trade for him, you would still be paying Rashard Lewis just as much.
