Iowa needs to throw downfield and they were doing short passes and bootlegs. Don't get that. Then when they do throw downfield, guys can't get open.

They can't get open because MSU's DBs are good, and Iowa's receivers are slow, small and/or cannot catch a cold. So you can't throw downfield. You can't throw short because you can't get first downs that way. That's called being poor at football.
