minnesota is bad, really bad. I still think Iowa wins against northwestern. Iowa's defense was good today except for that first drive. They will keep Iowa in games.

and this staff can't bring in big time recruits. They get 1,2 & 3 star recruits. The announcers mentioned that Epensa was only the second 5 star Kirk ever landed. AJ was a gift handed to him because his dad played for Iowa. Hayden got studs to come to Iowa,. Why would any 4 or 5 star really want to play Ferentz brand of football?

I had originally counted MN and PU. I just posted that I think PU could now be a loss. Hell, with the way this offense is going backwards, we might be Ill and lose the rest. You could very well be right.

That was quite possibly the most painful Iowa game I've ever watched, at least from an offensive perspective.

I went to Pasadena, so that one is still my #1 Iowa pain-game.
But this one isn't far behind it. All it lacked was a 3rd down punt.

yeah, i get what you're saying. but this offense is going backwards. we've shriveled up. we started the season with the right idea of having both JB and AW in the backfield. we threw 21 times on first down at ISU and completed 15. when we throw the ball we score. but now, we're afraid of making mistakes, not to mention our own shadow. we actually have wr's and rb's to use besides AW and we're wasting opportunities by ONLY using AW. lets use him as a decoy. lets go 4 wide for 3 straight possessions. my goodness, this not rocket science.

It doesn't matter how good our defense is if your offense turns it over and can't put points on the board. This offense hasn't shown an ability to do anything other than run into 8 man fronts...over and over and over. It's stubborn and stupid football.
