***Official Hawks Get Revenge On The Burrowing Rodents Game Thread***

Iowa hasn't made an inside shot in several minutes... nothing going in for anyone, although many of the shots have been tough.
 
Expected a dominant performance going into the game.......now I just want the W
 
A top five team should be controlling the pace of the game. I dont feel we are doing that as the half time score should be higher. Also what’s been going on with Freddie and Joe W as neither seem to really be into the game YET. They have scored but not at the level you would like to see. Joe W has been described as a potential NBA player, but I am not seeing it. He needs to be more of a factor if he is going to live up to that distinction.
 
Hawks 9-24 on 2's, 5-8 on 3's.... take what they give.
Iowa needs to pump fake and finish/get fouled near the rim.

JW hit a big 3, has rebounded well, and has been aggressive going to the hoop. He gave up a couple of baseline drives early, but his D has been fine since. He has gotten hammered pretty hard a couple of times. I don’t like the officiating. Iowa needs to hustle on the boards.

Agreed. I think Joe W has been disappointment on the year. I think he has improved his game in being aggressive taking it to the basket....but his perimeter shooting has been very disappointing overall.
 
Although JoeW did make a left hand drive to start the game, left-hand TOver to start the half..... still a weakness in his game. 1st move is always right
