** Official Hawkeyes vs. Goooophers game thread **

The child in me has to laugh when the commentator talked about McCabe being "a good ball handler". Just an observation.

He actually helps bring the ball upcourt very well his entire career. That is one of our advantages, almost every Hawk can help get the ball upcourt when our point guards are in trouble.....

Good to see Zach hit that three, just like Josh breaking out of a slump. We are in good shape and getting better. We be dangerous, Baby.....

Dangerous as a cornered cat, who's also part rattlesnake, Jack! ;)

He's a very good ball handler...brought the ball up the court in high school. Setting that aside...He played an outstanding game. He and Oglesby take heat on here constantly. Both were huge today.

Stupid auto-correct...I assume you meant "Brust"? :D

That is an obscene word, Shane.....

To me, he is the most irritating player in college basketball. Loved seeing the expression on his face after the Michigan loss doing the walk of shame. Loved it when someone mentioned the walk of shame about a doll leaving your crib early in the morning.....

One word best describes this win IMO. D---E---P---T---H!

I can't imagine anyone coming on here and saying we should only be playing 8...but I couldn't believe some of what I read last week after Ohio State so...

I'm okay with 10 deep (no Jok) he just looks lost right now. He looked confused on defense, didn't cut around screens like everyone else and couldn't really create his shot. We just lost some flow when he was in. Then again, he has the ability to get hot from three and I do love his skill-set and that's always a nice weapon, he's just too raw to see many, if any, minutes while the game is on the line.

No argument from me on Jok. I also think limiting Clemmons is the right move for now. He has to get his confidence back...but needs some minutes and is getting them. As I've said before...the 10 or 11 man rotation usually ends up being 8 for the most part "in game."

Plus many games are too close and therefore too important to not play him until he gets more experience. Catch 22......

He has shown his ability at times this season and will be a force for us.....

Bringing it with authority, Windsor......

True. Clemmons will be fine I'm sure. It's not uncommon for a sophomore to struggle after being pretty good their freshman year.

He will be good. Just not this year and we don't need him to be.
