Love the fact that OSU cut the lead to 6 with about 3 mins to go and the Hawks weathered the run. This team maybe figuring it out. The last two wins are big for confidence.

Yes! Weathering the Minny run on the road and then staying ahead the whole game today against future NBA guys was impressive.

I hope they can grow from this.

Being tied for the conference lead will do that. The next few games will say a lot about this team.

Sure will. But we now have 4 chances to win 1 game for a 5 win first half when most folks (including me) thought 3 or 4 wins would be reasonable. I want to win all games but I would love to split the next 4. With Jackson out, I so want WUs at home! Then, exercise some demons at Chrysler. At Purdon't and WU's will be very, very difficult roadies. We can't let being in first place now, cloud our judgments of this team if they lose a couple in a row, here, in the first half. We are a good team, but still learning.

And they also beat a subdued crowd at CHA. Do Iowa fans know when to get loud? If the Hawks are up by 12 and the opposing team makes a 3 point shot to cut it to 9, you don't get quiet and sit down. You get off your old white lazy butts and scream louder. Man, so many Iowa fans have no basketball IQ at all.

Great job sweeping The OSU this year. Russell is really good. The rest of the Bucknuts, not so much. They're still a good and dangerous team though.

Honestly, Hawkeye fans being curtious and sitting down for the people in front of them, probably cost us an average of 1.5 - 2 games a year.

This team needs be playing high percentage interior basketball. Just don't have the shooters to be jacking up threes.
