I feel like Luck is overlooked bc he won last year and I still can't get RGIII statement saying he already won out of my head.

Andrew Luck did not win the Heisman last year. Cam Newton ring a bell?

sorry, i'm late to this thread, and this already may have been mentioned, but here are my thoughts.

Brad Banks = RG3

no, they're not the same, but in the same situation. from the "lesser known school" going up against the consensus preseason pick and "hot" team. imo its obvious that RG3 is more deserving, but the heisman has more to do with hype than who is the truly most outstanding player.

If Richardson wins it will be a travesty and prove that there are a large amount of people in power that only want the traditional powers to win whether that is the Heisman or National titles.

IIRC, Carson Palmer had very little Hesiman hype going into the 2002 season.
