Both passes to Powell and Vandenberg were not easy catches to make. Vandenberg should have caught the pass however.
With the receivers that we have why is Vandeberg ever on the field?
I agree but normally a good QB will throw it out of bounds.I think that was an intentional throw-away. but it still brings up bad memories.
More like they would fail to claim the ticket in time. You know, the horrible clock management thing and all.
Feel like the play calling has been better so far today. For once...it actually is execution.
We need to go back to doing more of that...rolling out. Cuts down the field and decisions for the qb. Rudock's strong point is not scanning the field and going through his progressions to find the open receiver. That's very tough for many college football qb's to do. We used to roll out with quite a bit of success.
