KF= 59.5%

In all seriousness, both coaches were/are average statistically. The only difference is that Fry took over a program that was literally dead on arrival with hardly any tradition at all.

I dont think KF is a legend or anything, but I have seen the other side of the fence (lovey smith, pj fleck, mike riley, rich rod, etc) and it's rarely greener.

Not in college football. You get 3 gimmes. That means to get 8 wins you finish with a below 500 record in your conference and crappy bowl against a crappy team. Yeah. I stick by the mediocre statement.

I’m a huge pessimist, my post history can confirm. But I think history will prove that both Fry and KF are HOF coaches and Iowa is better for it.

Do I think the KF contracts are beyond stupid, yes. Do I think hiring KF’s son as OC when unproven is stupid, yes. But over time, both KF and HF are going to be looked back upon foundly and that’s all you can really hope for as a coach.

The 3 gimmes are getting harder to find. These lower tier teams are a lot better than they used to be. I guess there's only 4 teams that weren't mediocre this year like every year from here on out.

No need to be sorry. I've watched these teams also. It's only opinions. Sure some of them really suck but some of them don't. Wisconsin sure had a lot of trouble with lowly WM ( I think that was the team ) last year. That's just one off the top of my head.
